An OCR break-trough based application was needed to solve the inconvenience identified by the students – variety of schedule formats and no option to easily obtain syllabus reminders.

Solution

An image recognition solution based on OCR technologies was designed and developed by Bianor. It allowed users to take picture of a syllabus with a smartphone or tablet. Then, assignments and tasks for the class were automatically extracted. Course assignments were added to the user’s calendar so custom notifications based on the schedule were received.

Hassle-free syllabus timing and organization. The application is supported on a wide range of iPhone and Android devices.
